It is mounted immediately after the extruder discharge outlet. The hot extruded profiles are subjected to rapid temperature-controlled cooling right after exiting the die, serving as an in-line procedure of the extrusion line.
Lock the solid-solution microstructure of aluminum alloy. After subsequent aging treatment, the finished profiles gain higher hardness, tensile strength and comprehensive mechanical properties. It prevents slow natural cooling which would cause material softening, insufficient mechanical strength and bending deformation.
Surrounding air ducts on four sides, multiple groups of nozzles, variable-frequency fans, circulating water tank and PLC segmented cooling control system. Cooling intensity can be adjusted by zones to avoid warping and twisting of profiles with uneven wall thickness.

Quenching Nozzle Layout

The quenching air box is installed around the aluminum profile passing line, adopting an integrated enclosed frame structure with top, bottom, left and right four-sided air box assembly.
Internal partitions divide the box into independent air supply chambers for separate air and water delivery. Each chamber is fitted with dense rows of nozzles to evenly blow air or spray cooling medium onto the profile surface.
Equipped with frequency-conversion air inlet interfaces and water inlet pipelines on the outer side. The box body can be lifted, lowered and horizontally adjusted to match different profile specifications. Sealing strips are installed at the gap between box sections to reduce cold air loss and improve cooling efficiency.
