Multi-billet Heating & Shear Furnace

The Multi-billet Heating & Shear Furnace is integrated equipment for batch preheating and fixed-length cutting of aluminum billets ahead of extrusion lines. Together with single-billet furnaces, they are the two mainstream types for long billet heating.

Multi-billet Long Log Hot Shear Furnace

1. Working Principle

It holds 6~40 long aluminum billets inside the furnace at once. Heating relies on circulating hot air for overall thermal storage instead of direct open flame burning. Billets advance slowly for even temperature distribution. A hydraulic hot shear at the tail cuts billets to fixed lengths and feeds them to the extruder on demand.

2. Core Advantages

• Batch whole-furnace preheating creates tiny temperature difference inside & outside billets, ensuring stable extrusion and fewer defects like surface peeling and hollow sections.
• Sealed furnace with waste heat recovery saves around 20% energy during non-stop mass production, ideal for 24-hour continuous operation in large factories.
• Fully automatic feeding, step-by-step billet conveying and hot shearing minimize manual work, with far higher output than single-billet furnaces.

3. Standard Configuration

Infeed roller table → sealed regenerative furnace → variable-frequency hot air circulation system → in-furnace stepping pusher → tail hydraulic hot shear unit → discharge roller table. Whole line interlocked PLC & touchscreen control.

4. Application Scenarios

Perfect for large profile factories and mass assembly-line production of window & door aluminum profiles. Single-billet furnaces are more suitable for small plants with frequent order & product changes.

• Heating temperature: 460~540 ℃, furnace temperature tolerance ≤±5 ℃
