An overhead crane lifts unfinished wrought aluminum alloy round ingots and places them on heat soaking trays at the storage station. A 3D multi-functional loading trolley picks up the trays from the storage area and transports them to the furnace inlet. The furnace door lifts and locks safely. The trolley drives into the furnace, its lifting mechanism lowers to set the trays steadily on internal supports, then the trolley withdraws. The furnace door closes and seals tightly.
With the door sealed, the furnace automatically heats up rapidly and holds temperature following the preset homogenization curve. The temperature deviation inside the furnace is controlled within ±5℃ during heating. Once the furnace gas hits the target temperature, circulating fans switch speed automatically to guarantee even temperature distribution. During the soaking phase, the system adjusts the number of working burners or fuel supply to maintain consistent furnace temperature.
After homogenization finishes, the trolley moves to the furnace entrance. The door rises and locks securely. The trolley enters the furnace, extracts the loaded trays and conveys them to the cooling chamber.
The trolley travels to the cooling chamber, the chamber door opens, and the trolley moves inside to place hot trays on internal racks before exiting. The door shuts and the rapid cooling system activates to quench the aluminum ingots quickly. When ingots cool down to the specified process temperature, slow air cooling is adopted: outside ambient air is blown into the chamber by fans to cool the ingots, while hot exhaust is extracted outward by exhaust fans.
Once cooling is completed, the trolley automatically enters the cooling chamber to retrieve the trays for unloading. After materials are unloaded, an overhead crane restocks new ingots to start the next working cycle.
